Check Your System

Firstly, please do check the minimum specifications below that we recommend for both Space Rescue and MiniTreasure.  While they might both work on computers that do not meet these, we can't guarantee that.

We have set up a test page for you to be sure that your system is capable of running our web-based software.  It tests your browser and connection to enable you to be sure it will work for you as and when you are ready to hold your session(s).

To deliver fast responses during your team building session, our system loads the complete interface into your browser's page at the start.  This means that it can take up to a minute to fully load. So...

The screen will go blank for some of that time.  Please be patient while it is loading.

The test has 3 stages.  Stage 1 is to confirm that you can load the software into your browser.  When it is fully loaded, stage 1 is complete and you will see a dialog box confirming that your browser has loaded the software.  It also will have a 'Test Stage 2' button.  Wait a few seconds more (the last few items will still be loading when the box first appears) and then click the 'Test Stage 2' button to test communications between your browser and our server.  When that test succeeds, you will see a new dialog box with a 'Test Stage 3' button.  This will allow you to test that our software can open a new tab or window and also check that you have a compatible version of Flash installed.

If the test fails, your system will probably work - most do - but something in your set up needs changing.  So if you never get to see the dialog box, don't give up!  We could put a whole load of technobabble here to cover all the possibilities, but it'll be much quicker to have a short chat.  Please contact us to discover what needs changing.

For both Space Rescue and MiniTreasure you need a modern PC (Windows and Linux both work fine) or Mac with:

• 512MB or more of Memory
• 1024 x 768 or better screen resolution
• One of...

For Space Rescue only you will also need:
